Overview
Blanc is a digital bank for entrepreneurs. To attract higher customer balances, the team set out to create a new passive-income product that would let users earn interest automatically on idle funds. The goal was to integrate this capability into the existing “Streams” framework, a system of virtual accounts designed for flexible money management.
I led the design of Overnight, a feature that transforms unused balances into active earnings with zero manual effort, helping entrepreneurs grow their capital while maintaining instant access to liquidity.

Problem
The bank was behind competitors in offering passive income opportunities for customers. There was urgency to create a product that would allow users to earn interest overnight on balances in their accounts. Additionally, the challenge was to integrate this new product into the existing “Streams” feature, where users could create virtual accounts (e.g., a “dream piggy bank”) and manage them easily.
